I assume if we get rid of MoN some on here think we will get the like of Benitez..or similar My bet is..if Short gets rid of MoN...he will lose interest in the club. Sell it off to someone else..we will be left with the likes of Owen Coyle or someone like that as manager and many years in the wilderness. MoN is the best manager this club has had in years and years..Stop being so impatient. He will get it right. Support him and the team
May be on my own here but I don't rate Benitez as a manager anyway. Like you say we know there are things not working, give MON a chance to sort them if he then doesn't, he will be fair game. And no I don't have a time limit on this.
sell the club to someone who knows how to run it first, there are billionaires out there who could transform this 2nd rate club since the 1950's, but the right manager, and finance has to be there. And by the way Ried is the best manager we have had(7th twice in the premier league) that is fact. Cattermole and MON said in an interview after the match 'we deserved something' 'and we are getting there' where ? to the championship. We have seen this in 1977, 1985, 1987, 91, 97, 2003, 2006. And Short will turn the stadium into a pop concert venue, it is going that way now.
I'm as angry as the next guy but I saw an improvement today (although it was slight). MON is building his team and like many clubs this takes time. Players like Sess/Johnson/Cattermole all looked decent although Johnson has to learn when to pass. One thing I wanted was someone to have a bloody shot we aren't Barca and trying to walk it in got on my wick!.
