Yes. This would seem a reasonable option. He will find it difficult if he cannot use DRS effectively. Starting from the pit lane costs only a couple more seconds when compared to beginning at the back of the grid. If he's short-geared, it would seem at least plausible that they alter the car for top speed.
Conspiracy theory time... Alonso to Pedro.. How would you guys like a supply of Ferrari engines.. You would, well, I'll need a wee favour, give Vettel a helping hand off the track when attempts to pass you... Nice one... More paella?
This could not be scripted better. 24!! pages we would normally be well into the race. The twlight of 2012 is fabulous. Has Vettel ever started at the back?
Well the dullest end of season in living memory (seriously i prefered 2011 up until this point) just livened up a little bit. Great news.
2010 Abu Dhabi was the most anticlimactic thing i have ever seen in my life. I'm sure any Vettel fan would agree too.
Ian Parkes ‏@ianparkesf1 Red Bull looking into fuel cell issue, so Seb's car out of parc ferme and he will start from the pit lane. So they'll surely take the opportunity to change his set-up.
It was on one of those stone grill slabs you can cook your own food on, was nice, some good selections of meat and cheese etc...
Not really, in a way Seb is the safest person on the grid tomorrow, unlike Alonso who has Grosjean behind him and Pastor in front... If I'm lucky somebody takes out Alonso and this race wont matter at all.
Fair play to Webber, a track he doesn't like and traditionally doesn't go well at - he out qualifies Vettle with the correct amount of fuel on!
They say he did have the fuel, just somewhere else in the car and they weren't allowed to get it out by the rules stated.
very nice. Have a french one of those. great when you have guests as it means you don;t have to bother cooking!
Also.....are we ever going to get a Seb, Lewis, Alonso podium? It's like these guys can never have a good weekend at the same time...
