Well he has 2 games for me, then ive lost hope in him. A point at Birmingham is vital and if we don't beat Charlton we should begin looking elsewhere

    From the next 2

6 points - was just a blip and he's got it under control

    4 points - satisfactory

    3 points - minimum

    2 points - very poor

    1 point - disastrous

0 points - needs to go

Sorry Red Robin, but we do not appear to have a squad that can pull us away from the drop!
Whoever plays, the same problems are seen. Listening to Radio Bristol, it seems the Huddersfield goal was scored by one attacker against three defenders with the pass pulled back from somewhere near the goal line by Novak.
Once again our defence is trying to defend when facing their own goal. Sound familiar?
If my interpretation of the commentary is wrong, then someone who was at the match please put correct me.

And we battered away at their goal for most of the second half, but from the stats, we managed only 2 efforts on target all second half from 8 attempts (I think the half time stats were 2 shots with 1 one of them target.
I do not remember Baldock having one shot saved by the keeper - I'm not picking on him just noting that we didn't work their keeper, mostly because apparently Huddersfield threw bodies in the way to block the ball before it got there. Something we seem incapable of.

Even so, I do not believe that sacking McInnes will solve anything. Only very hard work!

Sam baldock does not look the player that arrived, the players are played out of positions they should be in,players are changed every game,no stability in the team.the team looks a shambles,no confidence comes to mind.

Thanks for the explanation wize now I feel more informed. Back to you prem on the fact that we had chances galore in the 2nd half but regrettably almosts don't count in the standings. At half time, or just before, according to the possession stats we had 61% and they had 39% and I believe that is generally termed as dominance - so why no goals?

Every time I listen to a game I have to keep asking myself if I am hearing correctly or is it just a replay of many of our games since getting promoted. I want DM to stay but the answers are starting to become eerily similar to those of past managers and we all know what happened with them.

Surely there must be someone who can get this sorted and his name we all know - c'mon man!

Wize, stats don't necessarily win games and if you want stats then we are going down. We are getting to the point soon when even a win will not get us out of the mire.

BBC Sport: "City almost snatched an equaliser deep into added time, but Huddersfield keeper Alex Smithies saved superbly from Stephen McManus. " If only that had gone in, we might have been thinking we had stopped the rot in a small way. I at least would have had a happier weekend.

I applauded Peterborough for sticking with Ferguson, when they lost 6 in a row. But then i though - what chance of attracting a better manager have they got.

Then I look at our league position and potential spending power in the January window, and I have to question if we would be in any better poistion to attract a decent alternative. Who is going to want to come to City when relegation is the most likely outcome.

Bristol City is a attractive club,as said countless times over the years, when we do well the public will support, when we are poor they go away.when GJ gave us that little bit of belief after so many years in the doldrums, the away support, the home support was fantastic.
The problem we have is finding the right manager to take us on past GJs super time with us.Until that happens we are going to struggle.

One thing for sure the club has always had a good standard of manager apply, the one thing is the coppout fiasco where it seems he was promised something that never came fourth.

Gents, I realise it is 5 games on the trot without a point and things look dire, however, look at P'boro, they had no points from 7 (or was it 8) games at the start of the season, did their board panic and sack Ferguson???? NO they did not, they realised it was early in the season and gave him time, even though the fans were baying for Fergie Jnr's blood. This is a division of 2 tiers, we are firmly in the second tier on every level from fan base to stadium before we get to the team. Have some faith, things can and often do turn very easily in this game, who had Ipswich to win at Brum yesterday or Millwall to smash Florist,( not my accumulator that's for damn sure).

It is difficult right now, but I still think we can turn it around, chopping and changing managers is not the answer, although Del could well heed that advice in his team selections.

If we are well adrift come Jan then I may add my voice to the get Del out bunch, until then onwards and upwards. COYR

What - you mean the club who sacked their underperforming manager and got in someone with a track record
of success in the Championship - and surprise, surprise won???

Jan we will already be relagated I'm afraid,we have two options deal with it early so we have a good chance of staying up,or we just accept it and realise we are going down.

The second will only see more fans stay away and season tickets would halve next season.

8 defeats on the bounce and it will be game over for Delboy.........can't see Sir Steve wanting to sack Del, but that will leave him with no choice. What then?............God only knows :(

I cant see anyone being sacked for the foreseeable future. If Del is sacked then that's even more reason to take issue with the board, and the way in which the club has been totally mis-managed over the last few years.

How things have changed since we beat Peterborough away, we were inside the top 6 for a few hours and we were looking very safe indeed. Now we have the possession, the shots, the 5 strikers, but no wins in 8. And every other team is licking their lips at the prospect of 3 points playing us.

I see the Barnsley Manager is looking likely for the chop and his run has not been as bad as ours. I want to keep the faith, but its very hard...
