Completely agree. There seems to be an air of "they're low down in the league, therefore we will just have to jog out onto the pitch to win." Nobody could be arsed today, thought it was eye bleedingly poor, but the one shining light, as ever, was Stephen Quinn. Just a shame Assem Allam voted 15,000 times for Elmo to be motm. (he wasn't great today either. He constantly gave the ball away and didn't really bother to try reclaim it.) The passing is ok, but that final ball seemed to let them down every time. You can see what they're trying to do, but you'd expect them to get it right at least more than once. The atmosphere was terrible, but I'd put that down to the crappiness of the football and the fact it was ****ing freezing.
Disagree, thought our first half display was impressive. We looked good on the ball, and very adventurous, the players must be confident with some of the stuff they're willing to try & pull off. We also never looked even clost to conceding in the first half, forcing every Barnsley attack all the way back to the 'keeper, unless we stole it off them before they could. Then in the second it was just flat, very flat.
