This 100% totally Eamon, TF said the same sort of thing on the podcast. Seems that certain people (media and others) have it in for us and are spreading rubbish.
Vialli & Wilkins???? Madness, even Paul Jewell would be preferable to those two idiots. Masons one and all.
I have this bad recollection of Wilkins taking us down before! Think even I prefer Hughes to him. I can see Hughes not shouting at players who have had a poor game. His style seems to be to say little, blame one or our best players who didn't have one of their best days, and leave them out for a few games. It has happened to Adel and Ale this season.
I do think that TF and the board will be sending some feelers out on to who is available and having a dinner or two with managers out of work, if you don't think this then you maybe a bit naive. For all TF wants Hughes to succeed there will come a point IF things don't change then he will have to bite the bullet and sack him, then what not have a replacement lined up, he did it with Warnock. Listen to the call in he said that he had Hughes round his house for talks and all I remember seeing on SSN was talks at Loftus Road so talks have started with other parties, if it is Wilkins and vialli I don't know.
I wouldnt mind Wilkins as a coach but not anything above that. TF must be looking for a new manager now, hed be stupid not to in case Hughes loses his next 2 or 3 games. However those 2 would be a joke.
Oh for the days before the internet existed and the only source of info/rumour was the morning papers.......Too much info at times!
There's some truth in this - Hughes IS cold The rest is fiction, but thanks for the good read, Nines. Next week, Glen Hoddle and the Archbishop of Canterbury form a dream team to tempt our Tone...
Clearly there is something not right at the club, the body language of many of the players is like they are just going through the motions. Perhaps a loss tomorrow would be a blessing in disguise if it sees off MH, but Vialli and Wilkins would be out of the frying pan, it has to be Redknapp, if only for his man-management skills...
There is no one out there. Flavio put paid to that as he tried everyone who could spell his own name during the 4 year path to world domination. Personally I cannot think of anyone currently on the shelf and unloved who I would trust with my money (if I were the owner) or with my club (speaking for all of us - the fans) Among the pundits, the only one who I suspect might make a good manager would be Lee Dixon and he claerly has no intention of applying. It's a big ask but the only option is to stick with Hughes and be patient. We knew it takes time and a lot of money when we got him.
El Tel wasn't mentioned Hounslow. That was the other thing I was told. Vialli manager, Wilkins coach. I forgot that bit. As I said before I think it's all a load of crap. I only put it on here as I felt duty bound to. I can just imagine the many faceless people behind the scenes giving out mis-information to see what crap will make it to the message boards.
That's fair enough mate. But it's crap, better be,,,,,,,,,,, Not So Super Ray coming back would be a problem for me.
