Article 30.19, in force since the Australian GP, prohibits the use of 2 curfew breaking jokers in the same weekend. This was altered this morning to help out Ferrari and Alonso. Yet not one word of complaint on here about that at all.
Because we aren't as anal? Good spot and knowledge though, will rep when I'm free of these blasted chains! Also, do you want a decent championship battle, are you a Vettel fan, or are you one of those fair types? Let's face it, that kind should have been wiped out by now through years of FIA bullshit.
At least the FIA have made tomorrow's race watchable. Going to be fun seeing Vettel carve his way through the field, might take some of the camera focus off the man on pole. Come on Seb, make this fun.
lol, not so much of a good spot or being anal, just a quick perusal of google after EJ mentioned it this morning. I'll admit I'd prefer Vettel to win, but if he gets sent to the back of the grid today for being underfueled thats the rule, so no complaint, but just think if he was underfueled and they decided to change the rule now so he started 10th (which is where I think Lewis should've been demoted to when he did it, last of the Q3 entrants) how stinky would that be? changing rules so a team that has just broken them can get away with it, simply to make the season more interesting isn't fair.
Did they officially change the rule, or has it just been forgotten? Also, how is it punished? If it's just a fine I imagine Ferrari would just take it. Is it definite then. If he doesn't get a penalty, I'd love to see how they justify not giving him one.

i didnt know there were 4 wild card curfews... i guess ferrari have the 2 remaining for the 2 final races
The FIA sent a letter to every team at the Australian GP that prohibited using them twice in the same weekend, if this wasn't the case why did the stewards bother to investigate, as it would be clear that they hadn't broken a rule, they only investigate when it looks like someone has broken a rule. So a new clarification was made after Ferrari had broken it going back on what they had stated at the start of the season to help out Ferrari to try and make the season finale' more interesting.
Jake Humphrey ‏@mrjakehumphrey Gary Anderson reports there should be some news in 15 minutes. #bbcf1
The FIA painted themselves in to corner with this one by hitting Hamilton like a ton of bricks. Had they hit him with 5 spots there would be a tasty race set up for tomorrow. In other news... it's quite apt that auto correct tries to correct FIA to FIASCO.
yeah, it was a ridiculous penalty, demotion to tenth should've been the punishment, but IF RBR are guilty of underfueling then he must be demoted to 24th, seems to me though that that isn't what the problem is, otherwise it would've been dealt with by now
