Currently 5 points off United, have beaten United and can beat Chavski or City on their day. Iand this is why many fans of bigger teams get criticized for. Not giving the smaller teams any credit. It's that same spirit that cost us the Shalke and Norwich games.
I'm giving Everton BIG CREDIT since I say they are a THREAT TO US, but not a threat to overtake United, City, or Chelsea, and I bet most fans, Evertonians included, would agree to that. So how can i not be giving credit to them when I'm saying they are a threat to the team I support? But the very fact that Everton have become a threat to us, is further proof of our regression.
They can beat them in one off games but Everton do not have the squad to win the league. They do however have the squad to finish above us
Everton will pose no real challenge to United, City, and Chelsea, stop living in lala land, the only team who they threaten in the league is us. The other 3 teams are fighting for the title, we're in the other league fighting for 4th spot, that's all.
I couldn't catch the game today, and just watched the highlights... holy **** Vermaelen. Those mistakes would make Squillaci look good. Like I've said, Koscielny and Mert should start, but we are kind of ****ed with him being captain. I bet Wenger is kicking himself for not making a solid player AND leader like Arteta captain... No one would be picked over Arteta unless he's injured. Koscielny this year has made like 2 unlucky deflections and everyone was on his back. What Vermaelen did today was in contrast pure incompetence, in fairly easy defending tasks. And this is nothing new, it just continues from his inumerous defensive lapses from last year.
If Chelsea drop points in games like this we'll all be sitting watching Persie lift the trophy at the end of the season
Final whistle goes: Spuds 0-1 Wigan. Couldn't have been easier for Wigan. I watched the last 10 minutes and Spurs created absolutely nothing. Can always rely on Spurs to brighten a dark day!
Masterful management by Martinez today, totally outcoached Boas. And Wigan look like they've learnt how to defend.
For someone who's assertions about Walcott require an eagle eye and a flawless memory, you sure remember very little about Koscielny's mistakes this season.
