    Greeting Potters <ok>

You have a game today at Norwich but I cannot see a single thread that relates in any way to it, are you guys not bothered about the game today then?

Yeah, but at least there is 'some' life on here, normally.

Hello all Norwich fans, Potters fan here. It is unusually quiet on our board today. Last weeks performance against the Mackems may have disgruntled some of our fans. We rarely win at Carrow Road so 3 points for us today will be a bonus IMO. We achieved a fortunate draw last season but we are due an away win sometime and today is a good opportunity really. Largely depends on how TP sets up the team, normally it is 'not to lose' hence the number of draws so far for us and the lack of goals we score. After a poor start for you boys you have managed a couple of decent results vs Villa and Spurs so today could be difficult for us and perhaps another draw could be on the cards. We are desperate to start winning and the next few games for us, including today ARE winnable but we shall see.

    Yeah - PP <ok>

It has been noticed the amount of draws you guys have been getting for sure, along with a distinct lack of wins. I think the feeling it we can win today but not kidding ourselves for 1 minute that it will be easy. If we play the same XI we started with in the last game I would hope we would be just a little too hot to handle. I had the feeling before the season started that it was going to be another tough season for you but seeing how poor Villa, Reading and QPR have been so far (and maybe Sunderland) I think you will be okay but possibly in the mix (quite possibly with us) at the wrong end come the last month or so.

This fixture has draw written all over it, I think we will be set up in our usual defensive manner for away matches and will try to keep a clean sheet then nick a goal in the last 15mins, our left back is injured so that will be the weakest area that your guys could exploit. We have played better football of late but still have problems converting the chances we create. The game could go either way but a draw still seems the likely outcome.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Whether we will be in the relegation mix is too early to say. We have been trying to change our style of play this season and by all accounts the signings of Adam and N'Zonzi have been well received by the fans. But TP has loaned out Jermaine Pennant and he is our best crosser of a ball. Pulis still adopts a 'do not lose mentality' (even at home against Sunderland last week) Pundits are saying we will be Ok and I certainly hope so but goals win games and we are not scoring enough. It's OK not losing but 38 draws in a season equates to 38 pts and that would not be enough.

    PP,
I don't think we will go down, i think we will get the points we need but will as usual do things the hard way, we will miss our left back and that may be a ready excuse for "that man" to use for the way we set up and any poor results that come our way.

Jowler, I agree. For Norwich today the only change is Wilko at LB for Marc Wilson, ie: DO NOT LOSE

Ethers on the bench again when I thought TP said he could possibly start! No Owen anywhere (is he injured or is there an important race meeting somewhere??) Jerome on the bench in his place.

I would not be surprised if that was enough this season, I can see it being a low points total for the bottom 3 this season, not too dissimilar from last season. Not that it should worry you guys, you ought to have enough to make 40-45 pts <ok>

As for a draw written all over it - I will need to see how well our midfield link up with whoever is up front. If our passing is good I think we will win, if that connection is not so good then I would agree a draw is probably quite likely.

    PP,
Not seen the team sheet, if wilson had not been injured I would have fancied us for this match. I don't know about Owen but we need to get more goals from somewhere and Walters isn't going to do it so I guess it will be doing it the hard way unless Walters get injured.

    Well,
Listening to the game on the radio we're all over the place and set up NOT to LOSE it seem's? Etherington YET again on the bench. Clueless Pulis sounds like Crouch is isolated away from home. What's new there. Adam booked too! This is always a tough game and right now I'm not expecting anything from this game. We'll see after 90 mins.

Not a classic game but happy with a half time lead (assuming we can hang on to it this time, or build on it).

The stream I am watching is really poor, have any of you actually seen, to confirm if it was or was not a "foul"? that led to the goal?

No, only listening on the radio. According to what they are saying. NO free kick but hey, it's given YOU score and WE should have defended it. By the sounds of it, just about deserve the lead.. this is typical of Pulis so we're used to LOSING when trying NOT to.

Just had a look at the stats on talk sport, it does suggest the score probably does reflect the balance of play but there really isn't much in it.
