Charlton team: Hamer; Solly, Wilson, Morrison, Cort; Kerkar, Jackson, Dervite, Pritchard; Wright-Phillips, Hulse. So we go back to Solly at LB, Wilson at RB and Pritchard on the right. Hmmm. Not too confident about this one.
The lineo warming up in yellow has eaten far too many pies! If we are playing a 4 man midfield then why still have Dervite playing? Also if we are playing a 4 man midfield why not pick a right winger? Or is BWP going to play right wing in a 5 man midfield?
Actually, I'm not sure what the formation is, I just guessed that was what it was. We're about to find out...
It seems that Kerkar is playing left back, so Solly and Wilson in the usual positions. Pritchard heads over, sounded a decent chance.
We have done OK in two hard games with a very defensive line-up. We have brought in BWP to try and nick the goals we failed to nick towards the end of the last two games. I guess CP thinks he has shifted the balance enough towards attack and wants to retain the tackle-power in midfield we would lack with Stephens and Green. Dervite has really replaced Hollands who is apparently badly off-form. Actually Pritchard can't tackle either but he does keep harrying.
We are more than holding our own. Most of the Boro players had a hard game on Tuesday so maybe we can do something nearer the end of the game.
Wilson off injured so your wish may be granted. Whom do you fancy? Green or Cook? I am guessing CP will put Pritchard RM and bring in Stephens, so still no proper winger.
Ironic really. There have been question marks about every position in the team this season apart from the centre-backs who have been rock solid and automatic chances. But two bad mistakes today may cost us.
