For fouls conceded unfortunately Today's telegraph has us conceding 134 fouls, 10% more than wigan in second place Why are we like this? Is this the reason for our terrible disciplinary record under Hughes? We used to be known as a stylish outfit are we now a bunch of cloggers?
Used to like singing that!
I know against Arsenal you had the dodgy decision cost you points, but since people are saying elsewhere your performances over the season haven't been very good is it fair to say that in most games you've been second best? Teams that spend all their time defending are more likely to concede fouls than teams that retain possession well and pose an attacking threat because you don't usually give away freekicks (bar offsides) unless the opposition have the ball.
Not sure Ricardo, Chelsea are well up there too with fouls conceded and they're not exactly battling relegation It's another hughesism I'm not keen on
Arent we also top of the league in fouls on us as well? It seems teams foul us in order to get a reaction which works.
No we're nowhere near the top of the most fouled table The hammers are top followed by stoke, Wigan, everton and Swansea No we just have a big discipline problem
There is no discipline in the squad but according to some, that is not the managers fault but to me its akin to parents not being bothered about what their kids do and they turn into horrible little scrotes.
Thug parents, thug kids... Wiki: "Hughes suffered with disciplinary problems throughout his career, and in his first season at The Dell he received 14 yellow cards, a total which has never been exceeded in the Premier League."
