Nabbed by Nahrain after committing early over this trip on yielding turf in the Flower Bowl, but unlikely to face as demanding a test now returned to quick ground in race lacking pace; had earlier looked really good when taking Saratoga Grade 2 over extended 1m (broke course record) and could be too quick for this lot

Just watched the overhead and that winner won very nicely..regardless of the other contenders problems in running.

Our horses don't have the tactical speed for this course or, more importantly,the NOUS of the local jockeys..they are getting ridden to sleep!!

I've learnt two things tonight 1) american racing is **** and 2) having to sit through the american tv coverage is like a slow and painful death.

 

3) European jockeys are completely one dimensional.

 

Questing pulled up glad I didn't have cash down. Hope she is ok

RV,apparently she's fine according to the on course vet on first examination...not sure what went wrong...

I did forewarn you RV ..never touch the BC as far too unpredictable especially on the West Coast of USA and I have been to Santa Anita and remember it being the downfall of Dancing Brave too !
