Sorry, i didn't see the match (had work) and was checking the updates on my phone, although i did come to the conclusion that we gave them 3 point due to defensive errors.

Stoke didn't even want him a couple of seasons back! He hasn't improved since then

Simpson was awful today, this is why I dont rate him when everbody else seems to **** over him, he constantly backed off his man, was constantly out of position and was awful going forward, a lot of the time he had nobody around him with bags of time to put a good cross in and couldnt get anywhere near anyone in the box.

Williamson played a huge part in todays downfall, the poor header clear for the first goal, trying to be clever for the second goal and completely out of position and not picking up Suarez for the 3rd.

Coloccini was alright really, but could have also done a lot better but definitely not the worst.

Enrique was alright really not as good as he usually is going forward but was fairly comfortable in left back, still doesnt look like his heart is in it anymore though and will be leaving IMO.

Barton, for a while now hes been utter garbage, just aimlessly pelts balls into the box, and the deliveries are all terrible, and his tracking back isnt great either, also if you watch the highlights for Liverpools first goal when Willo heads clear Barton is just standing there on the edge of the box letting it all happen, probably could have done something if he tried, not something the supposed "best midfielder in england" should be doing.

Nolan had his usual anonymous performance at CM, did absolutely nothing all game and didnt do **** all in the way of helping Jonas out when he had the ball held up on the wing, he is an average CM at best whos very good in front of goal usually, thats all he is, a lot of people cant handle that.

Tiote, not his worst performance but not his best either, didnt pick up players well enough in midfield and the game passed him by, dont blame him though when nobody lifts a finger to help, needs to sort out his yellow card problem.

Gutierrez, I have a new found respect for this bloke, never ever stops running and gets into great positions but never gets any support from anyone, not even Enrique today, Gutierrez has certainly upped his game in recent weeks, probably because he knows Ben Arfa is on the brink.

Ameobi, completely hopeless, cant hold the ball up properly, cant shoot, cant control the ball, doesnt make runs, doesnt come for the ball, needs to go IMO.

Lovenkrands, exactly the same as Shola but more anonymous, forget hes playing most of the time.

Needed to get that out of my system! ha

Just got back from work, how was the match? I know we lost 3-0, but I saw the post-match interview with Pardew on the TV at work and he seemed to think we played okay.

We played well for most of the first half, after their goal. Started second half well, but silly penalty left us reeling and open for the third, after which we got back into it. Ameobi and Lovenkrands were poor, and we tended to have no options once we got into the final third. Bad defending and bad luck for the first goal, bad decision making and strength from Williamson, followed by a nice dive outside the box by Suarez got them the pen, then no one tracked Suarez as he ran into the box for the third (Williamson just stood and watched).

Those two words are appearing in the same sentence every week. I'd rather let Loven and Ranger start the rest of our remaining games.

    and i'll say it again
and i'll keep saying it for the next few games because it's inevitable.

Would have done that myself if I'd managed to get a bet on. Saved myself some cash to help ease the pain of the rest of the day. A dire performance by the whole team, we just didn't turn up.

i should never put bets on. i've only won 2 this season, 1-1 against chelsea and 1-0 against the arse.
i only put 2 quid on though cuz it was my dads account so i didn't lose much

disappointing result. boring match to be honest. ****e to watch on espn. no atmosphere, not a lot happened in first half. disappointing goal to concede. still unsure about the penalty.

crap day. bring on next week. we're due a win, surely? not in this form though, i can't see it :(

Pardew isn't the brightest crayon in the box, it sometimes seems as if he doesn't know what he's doing or saying. He just opens his mouth and lets the words come out. Seems to lack passion too.

At least Hughton had the guys playing as if they knew one another, Pardew seems to have messed up on that too.
