I see Barnard is not playing for Cherries in the FA Cup match, tweets say Saints have refused Permission, but I cannot find any evidence of that, I don't know if or why we would refuse unless it would compromise a future transfer, but Barney said he was happy there anyway.

Isn't it weird when people debate without insulting each other, and without repeating the same one point while ignoring the other person's points. It's almost as if some of us actually base their opinions on facts and are willing to challenge their own conceptions with new information. I hope someone's documenting this abnormal behaviour.

To revisit quite a common topic on this thread, Nate Silver (rather incredible statistician from the New York Times) uses his own algorithm that combines numbers in public opinions polls and is currently predicting that Obama has an 80% chance of winning next week's election. http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/author/nate-silver/

Recently he's been upsetting quite a lot of Republican voters, mainly because they know how reliable his predictions are. In 2008 he was shockingly accurate with his predictions. Anyway, I bring this up because it's likely to disappoint Banana/MLT (or whatever he's calling himself today), who seems to now prefer Romney's policies. I've had a little bet with my brother, who predicted Romney would win this election, so I'm pretty pleased with all this.
