Aluko's the best player we have. Is he really deserving of being slated? He's played 1/3 of the games that ****, greedy **** Brady did and already scored more goals
Spot on mate.. can't for the life of me think why Brady and Josh King are still at Manure TBH - both not good enough for us either.
If we're going to start a thread for each guess of a potential signing, then we're going to have a hell of a lot of pointless threads.
I never got the obsession with King either; he was just a marginally better Cameron Stewart. Every time I saw him he'd just get the ball and run as fast as he could until something got in his way, a la Forrest Gump
Both have no end product just like Cam stewart. Thats what let us down last season, whereas this year we have Aluko and quinn and elmo chipping in with goals and assists from midfield and wide areas, just a shame Fryatts injured or we'd be top
I thought Rosenior put in a great shift at LWB. Hopefully this loan signing is mainly brought in as good cover because I'd rather we used our players than largely inexperienced youngsters. Especially someone who'se been a great servant for us and genuinely wants to be here.
He's filled in at left back a couple of times, but he's really a right back and if we're going to play at right back on the left, we might as well stick with Rosie. The irony is, that if Connor Townsend played left back for Man United or Spurs, we'd probably bring him and stick him straight in the starting XI.
Tbh, I do know an awful lot about random players, but that's because football is my hobby. So any games I can watch, I do watch. As for Football Manager, I do play it, but it's mostly done on random number generation so I don't really go by it. I'll say this though, they do their research well and have a massive network of scouts. But if you played FM12, you'll see that Nick Powell, Max Clayton et al have a lower potential than Jamie Devitt to start with, so no, the database isn't much use. I can give you random players if you like. My one to watch though would be George Washbourne at Forest Green Rovers, massive young talent and has the potential to go far.
