GOOD - Tickets go on sale on Sunday BAD - Away fans have been rellocated to the North Stand Upper Tier (used to be South Stand)! I hope it's not as high as the away end at Newcastle or else I'll need a pair of binoculars.
Could be lowest attendances for ages, tuesday night game 250 miles away know a few who cant make it due to work and a few like me who honestly cant be bothered with a trip up to sunderland at night...
Both are fantastic away days if you make it a lads weekend. The travelodge by the Tyne does excellent deals and the crumpet up there is such easy pickings its unreal, avoid shearers bar unless you and the lads are game for a row,
Secret, it's on a Tuesday and I live less than 50 miles away! I know how "easy" the lasses are up there, Geordie Shore is comedy gold.
seriously - its not too difficult to factor in distances for these games when allotting them. Why is this not Southampton or West Ham away? Like Boxing Day at 1.30PM in Plymouth the other year...
In theory we should have fewer mid-week games in the PL than we had in the Championship, though TV games on a Monday night don't help I actually prefer games on a Sunday now
There's 4 London clubs alone playing on that Tuesday/Wednesday which are playing Northern clubs ! Dont give a **** about the fans, have you heard the PL's new comments on safe standing, all the 'enhances match day experience' bullshit, the only set of fans that want all seater stadia are Liverpool fans and 'prawn sandwich' brigade, ill stop before I go into a rant though
Your actually spot on mate. Ok thing is common sense seems to have gone out the window at the fa, contact of mine used to work at wembley, he says they was always scatter brained and reactionary
