The French league is close to the PL in style to, so French players often settle quicker.

7 million pounds for Pierre would be a steal. has size, pace, trickery, and can score. Could be our Ba/Cisse/Jelavic type. Unknown but comes in and can fit straight into the team and style.

Emphasize his age, financial pluses and resale value.

Compliment him as well as his wife. Not just his wife.

    Wiltord.

Cisse was good to, but Rafa didnt use him.

Belgium is the place to get the talent from right now though.

My god we need some players. We are so thin on the ground. This and the summer window are very important. Hopefully the bosses will cough up.

There is also the odd turkey to come out of the French league too, Giroud, Diouf, Cheyrou, Diao. For every Robert Pires there is a Pascal Cygan.

Dont agree cisse wasnt brilliant because rafa didnt use him. He did but cisse was often not very good! I still like him though. Especially the everton goal.

Cisse had the ability and the attributes to be a world class footballer, the problem was he had very little between his ears. Time and time again, he strayed off-side. Most of the time there was no need for him to stray off-side as the passes were pin-point. It was Xabi Alonso passing the ball to him, not Anderson.

Cisse was very good, but he could drive you up the wall too. Okay Luis Garcia made people tear their hair out, but he was forgiven for the pieces of magic he could conjure out of nothing.

Telegraph are reporting that BR will try to offload Downing, Enrique, J Cole and Hendo.

  17. I hope you was joking with Wiltord <laugh>

Cisse was poor considering how much he cost. He was one of the most annoying strikers I have ever come across. He had two main assets: power and pace. He would often break clean through to then just hit a very powerful shot straight at the keeper, he didn't know how to place it!

That would be a full house of King Klown's big signings apart from Suarez!
