Once again confirmation that he can't beat Red Bull. He has to rely on them making a mistake. Two more wins for Vettel and he's the champion.
Okay Fernando.. push naoww.. push naaooww. I am pushing like ell!!! Full credit to Alonso if he manages to pull him back. please log in to view this image
This has been considered, jonnybaws â and is still in use in various championships: not least the BTCC. I personally think it is a bit too contrived and makes the racing a bit more like some sort of arcade game. Like others, Smithers, I find it very difficult to read this as a swipe at the drivers. Bit strong, Bando? I see no part of his comment that singles out anyone. I see it as more a case of acknowledging that they as a team have not capitalised on their strengths. However, this certainly requires a Team Principal to take a long, hard look at all aspects of the team's management â which of course, necessarily includes himself. I see absolutely no relevance in this idolatry comment. EMSC: Surely it actually demonstrates the triviality of statistics?!
sorry I didnt actually read the article (As its blocked). If Whitmarsh were to have laid any blame on the drivers then he is totally wrong. The drivers have gone up a notch this year but have been let down time after time this year. They could of been clear winners in 2012 if it wasnt for balls ups. In fact the delays to upgrades have also led to them falling behind in my view. And all this coming from the most advanced F1 factory in the world. Finishing 3rd will sum the season up for them. Harsh but true.
This season, McLaren have made more errors as a team than any other of the front runners. But there is not a single word where Whitmarsh seeks to lay blame with his drivers.
This year has been a bad one to be a McLaren fan. They had a brilliant car and threw it all away through silly errors, comical pit stops, and awful reliability.
http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...-writes-his-mercedes-world-title-hopes-184265 Getting down to Earth with Mr.Hamilton, a lot of hard work will be needed. And in stark contrast in predicting team performance in 2013: Perez targets a title next year. http://www.formula1.com/news/interviews/2012/11/13997.html It is a headline before the Abu Dhabi GP and another record broken in F1, seen as though we are talking about F1 on an F1 forum it has relevence. Maybe I should have put it in the Spare Parts thread I admit. Stats are a big part of F1 though Cosi. It's nice/vital to keep tabs with them from time to time.
HOW DARE HE INSULT THE MIGHT OF......actually he is probably right. 2014 is what I'm looking forward to with the Silverarrows, 2013 will probably just be another 2011.
This may sound like biased fanboyism but oh well, Yes McLaren has heavily underperformed and thrown away big oppurtunities when the car was the best, yes Button has underpeformed. Hamilton on the other hand has not and has been one of the most consistent drivers of the year along with Raikkonen, brilliant in every grand prix weekend.
Be even better if I heard the words in 2013: Sebastian Vettel to Mercedes next season. Seb+Lewis lineup for the Silverarrows? Yes please!
Isn't Hamilton on a multi-year contract? Nico would be next to be kicked to be honest. And then Vettel in, but that is only if Mercedes want to stay in F1, and the car is performing. Vettel will go there in the latter part of his career I think. Overall though, I think Mercedes will have a last roll of the dice with Ham and Ros, after this they will hang it up.
Just been reading the press conference - Autosport - and apparently they'd added quite a few new big kerbs this year to stop people taking liberties.
Do you actually prefer Mercedes over Red-Bull then Silver? Imagine if Vettel took Newey with him, that would be a deadly combination of people Ross Brawn, Adrian Newey, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton Bye Bye opposition and hello to an awesome 2 horse race
stop saying that ffs, my mum is in the room!!!!! I don't support RBR, Mercedes and Sauber are the teams I support!
Huh? where did you find those photos? P1 hasn't even begun. You may also have to give a deeper explanation of what the upgrades are, I don't know how that differs to the Indian version.
