I'd like to see the scum explain this one away... A Chelsea fan has been pictured appearing to make a 'monkey' gesture during last night's match at Stamford Bridge. Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck was pictured in the same frame. It is an image which will re-ignite the toxic issue of racism as Chelsea last night pressed ahead with a formal complaint to the FA of inappropriate language used by race-row referee Mark Clattenburg. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Manchester-United-striker-Danny-Welbeck.html
I've never posted before but felt I had to make a comment on this. I can not believe for a moment that Clattenburg would have made these comments. Firstly why would he feel the need to come out with a racist comment? It's beyond any possible reasoning. Secondly, he knows that the other officials would hear every word. It would be career suicide. Another interesting thing is that it is Obi Mikel who is pictured in front of Terry as he is shouting racist abuse at Anton Ferdinand, looking particularly uncomfortable at what he is hearing. Despite this he is happy to close ranks and say nothing during the criminal and FA investigation. Suddenly after Chelsea are on the back of, what they perceive, to be harsh refereeing decisions he is up in arms about racist comments on a football pitch. Perhaps he has always felt uncomortable about his previous stance and now feels he has to show some sort of stand against racism. Who knows? The only thing I feel is clear is that this is totally ridiculous. Once Calttenburg is cleared, the FA should throw the book at the players involved and Chelsea. I totally agree with Warnock's comments on this, he still appears to have some Blue & White hooped blood running through his body. On another matter, I'm not normally one to praise Utd fans...But great banners!
Welcome, good post http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-staff-questioned-witnesses-over-1409690 "Chelsea players who reported Mark Clattenburg’s alleged racial rant may have misheard his heavy Geordie accent. Brazilian stars Ramires and David Luiz both claimed the Premier League referee told John Obi Mikel, “Shut up, monkey”. But after the game against Manchester United, Chelsea officials and players questioned whether they were confused by his accent and he said simply, “Shut up, Mikel”." No fan of Clattenberg but if true he should get a good lawyer and sue the ****s for all they're worth. Edit: This is a racist referee (in Israel): http://video.repubblica.it/sport/is...dopo-il-gol-espulso/109518?video=&ref=HRESS-7
Sadly, he's probably seen himself in the paper today and feels a sense of pride. Well, that'll come crashing down if he receives a ban, though.
It is obviously a set up. It is actually a large chimpanzee dressed up in a halloween mask and a few old clothes from the charity shop.
Chelsea have really shown their true colours this past 12 months. The whole world knows what they are now and what they stand for. Any non-white footballer who plays for them needs their head seen to.
I love the way theyve summed up why they are called "the scum" in just one week. Racist fans, coins thrown on the pitch, pitch invasion and false allegations against a ref, yet again, this must be the 3rd or 4th times theyve done that.
I think they are trying to be seen as the victims rather than the instigators to help their ***ging PR...but i'm biased I must admit.
God you guys are bitter! How about waiting for the truth to come out before making rash statements. You should just stick to worrying where that first win's going to come from!
