    Dear all,

Every November you will notice moustaches sprouting out of men’s faces all across the country in support of ‘Movember’, which aims to raise vital awareness and funds for men's health including prostate and testicular cancer. Starting tomorrow I will be joining in along with other members of my family (3 out of the 4 of us are Hornets). If you would like to make a donation please feel free to look at the links below . One is for my own account and the other is for our team ‘The Magnums - Hemel Division’. The donations are all done online so no worries about anyone hassling you for money, please give as much or as little as you would like, every little contribution will help.

I will try to keep mine and the team pages updated every few days with pictures. Please feel free to point and laugh at my pictures, even if you cannot donate, the main point is that it is noticed and people talk about it.

    My page: http://mobro.co/andrewclarke2

    Team page: http://uk.movember.com/team/579221

Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts to change the face of men's health.

    Andrew aka SandyHornet

p.s. I hope you don't mind me posting this on the forum, I just want to get this out to as many people as possible.<ok>

Thanks H, I'll be interested to see how I get on too. Hoping to go for a full Tom Selleck, but will be concerned if I end up looking like Freddie Mercury :emoticon-0104-surpr !!!

Cheers for the comparision Saxet, if only I had his goal scoring ability (and payslip). In all my years of Sunday football I only scored 2 goals and one of them was an 'own goal'. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

    Hi guys

Nearly the end of Movember and thought I'd give you guys an update. As you can see I think my 'Mo' can officially be classed as a 'Magnum'!!! At the stroke of midnight on Friday the shaver will be coming out (much to the delight of my wife) and the mo will be no more :(. Still, it's been a fun month and our team total stands at £257 which is not bad for just growing a bit of hair on your face. I have been called all manor of funny names from "one of the 118 guys, Manuel, Borat, Mario, Luigi, 70's porn star and every 70's/80's football who had a tash!!!

Please donate if you can and if not please pass on the message about men's health and regular check ups......especially some of you older chaps <ok>. Money helps, but knowledge is just as important to reduce these issues <cheers>

Thanks H, I really do appreciate it :emoticon-0109-kiss:. It's not a difficult challenge but I'm glad to be a small part of it. The global total is just under 50 million at the moment so a lot of good will come out of this :emoticon-0100-smile.

Thanks for your donation Dan, didn't recognise you until the email address popped up.<ok>

I will be doing a final update tomorrow when the grand total should be pretty much in, but so far the team total stands at £373 which is brilliant. Thank you to all who have donated, it has been a lot of fun but after midnight tonight 'Mo' culling season commences!!!

Still time to donate if you like and thank you for putting up with my cap in hand routine. <cheers>
