I see the Spurs game has been moved to Monday 14th january. Unless, either club has an FA cup replay that week, then the game reverts back to the Saturday 12.45 kick off. It is very likely, at least one of the two clubs could have an FA cup replay. How are fans meant to book their travel arrangements based on this? Absolutely ridiculous.
It's a joke fin. I'm dreading the new round of televised games coming out. It's a nightmare getting my shifts covered. I have to workout all my leave to get to games and then they change them. It must be even worse in your situation.
I am going to Argentina 12th Jan. I booked flights to arrive in LHR at 12.00 midday and my flight to Buenos Aires doesn't depart LHR until 21.45 hours meaning I would have had time to see the game. Now the game has been moved to the Monday. Unless of course it kicks off at 12.45 on the 12th?? If it does, I should arrive at the ground about 15 minutes into the first half. We won't know which day the Spurs game is until the 3rd round ties are played the previous week 5th/6th January. If you were booking a train within Britain, which day would you book? Ridiculous.
As regards work, I'm self employed. Just as well!!! Organising travel is hard enough on it's own without trying to rearrange work as well.
