Komino my House - Sparks Cease to Begin - Band of Horses Scott 4 - Scott Walker The Infotainment Scan - The Fall Feel free to add your own.....or rip the piss out of me or my choices!!!! Best regards, Tubbs Lardy
Couple of quality choices in the OP - especially Walker and The Fall I'll go: Slain by Urusei Yatsura Supernatural by Steve Stoll (techno with live percussion - brilliant) Ecstasy and Wine by My Bloody Valentine (my favourite band ever but most folk won't have heard this album - it's basically two early EPs glued together but it's proper groundbreaking)
'The Dwarves are young and good looking' by The Dwarves 'Infernal Love' by Therapy? Some album by James Iha. Dirty Black Love by The Black Rats
Saw Therapy? at T in the Park back when it was in Strathy Park. Was about 15 at the time and it made me go out and buy that and Troublegum. Had a cassette recording of Nurse. Went badly downhill after Infernal Love.
I was at that too. First time I saw them was in the Tramway for Mayfest or whatever it used to be called. And, aye, as soon as they tried too hard to become "listenable" they lost the very reason I liked them i.e ludicrous drum patterns over zappa-esque riffs
well.... maybe sorta, but they use tracks from his first 2 albums and then did all the stuff to them, stands on its own I ( and I ) would humbly submit
Not heard of it, got 2 or 3 LPs by him, all my vinyl is in boxes in the cupboard under the stairs. One day I want to have a room to myself where I can get them all out again.
A girl I went out with years ago was really into him, I heard that album back in the early 80's and it was very good.
