How did ref Lee Mason miss Keane's blatant DOUBLE handball. He must have been copying Hernandez's handling skills from Old T in 2010. And why was Keane only booked instead of being sent off for bringing Sturridge on when through on goal? Clattenburg sent Ivo and Torres off for the same offence

Maybe he had an itch? Or maybe don't tarnish 1000's of fans with the actions of a solitary moron. Bit like when United fans sing sons about Hillsborough.
I thought the ref was OK. Hand on ball or ball on hand is the question he has to ask himself in a split second! Over the entire 120 minutes the scoreline didn't flatter us. It could easily have been a 3 goal margin!
Not really. You should take the victory. To say that you won against 12 men does not enhance it. Every referee call could be questioned by every fan. United supporters could point to fouls that should have been given etc. Just move on and look forward to the next round
I thought the ref did well generally but had we lost maybe those 2 decisions would be more of a talking point. TBF you often see the handball ones not given though given the 2 sending offs from Sunday, Keane should have gone.
I do not disagree. keane could have gone but his going or not wouldn't have made any difference to the outcome. The reality is that Refs in this country tend to chicken out of big major decisions. The brave ones like Clattenburg, Webb are prone to mistakes like everyone else and this discourages the others even more. What happened in Reading is a good example of a clear 2nd yellow card not being given to the Arsnel defender. The ref basically chickened out of a decision as he knew he had to send the player off.
Didn't watch the game but everthing I've read about it praised Mason for doing an excellent job, even your manager did.
If he had not given us a last-min penalty, RDM would not have done. The failure to award a double handball would have cost us the game
There are several possible explanations for this. 1) He has his hands in/is taking his hands out of his pockets 2) He is scratching himself 3) He has a mental illness and usually hold his arms like that 4) He has casts on his arms under his coat 5) He was taking his two invisible children to see the game with him and has them in his arms 6) He's got a pair of invisible thugs in head-locks But nooooooo, we have to use the race card straight away. Let's be honest though, the real tragedy here is his coat.
Classy like Evra (caught and punished) deliberate false playing of the racist card at Chelsea please log in to view this image Classless ******s since inception.
He was not even vaguely biased. Despite the Mata pen there was nothing wrong. Had a top game not everyone is out to get us.
