Chelsea will be playing abit after the tour in Japan which might increase our chances, but as long as our team fights to the death and elland road is as intimidating and loud as possible, I don’t care what the result is. Theres no shame losing to a top four side like Chelsea, but we cannot capitulate the way Saints did to us, they barely even left their own half

Must admit, if I was a Saints fan I would be none too happy. Not for losing to Leeds, as losing at ER is not really a disaster (still not an easy place to go for a cup game) but the manner in which they rolled over, as you, barley venturing over the half-way line.

It does annoy me that most (if not all) PL teams now use reserve teams, even we did it last night against Spurs but thankfully just about got away with it. It's a competition we could actually win, with a little luck, if we field the first team but survival is the be all and end all unfortunately.

A lot of championship teams do now as well. We made 4 changes to the team, there were more changes for the Everton game. Ashdown is our cup goalie and he doesn't play in the league.

This cup is losing respect. They need to put in a similar rule like the JPT where a percentage of first team players have to play if they want it taken seriously I think

It should be a good game. Even a Chelski 2nd string won't be that shabby a side. We will have to work hard to get anything out of it, but who knows? More to the point, if we were to beat Chelski, it really opens up opportunities for us to go all the way & possibly be in Europe next season..... without there being a war!!!

Another thing to remember----we have never beat Chelsea in any cup tie. Time for a change methinks.
