    Interesting draw.
Bradford will be made up having a home tie v the Arsenal - good for them.

Oh I do , it sounds like something that would be in Russia a few years back or China now .
The reasoning for it would be put across as beneficial when in fact its draconian fascist censorship , I am amazed that a liberal leftwing person like yourself could propose such a controlling measure against views you may not agree with .

We wasted a chance of a full house, even more reason to be critical of playing a weak side.

We would not have got a full house. You wouldn't get a full house at SMS in the league cup unless it was a semi final.

Laws against racist and defamatory comments are good examples of existing restrictions on freedom of speech. So yeah, it can be a good thing.

I don't do articles, seldom create threads, but love to respond with a bit of banter, if you don't like it, hit the ignor button and hope no one uses reply with quote function. It's the only way to pick up experience points whatever they are!

I managed to resist naming you in the original post, but this is a clear example of the kind of thing I'm talking about. You've made it clear you disagree, but you have repeated this opinion without any further embellishment in no fewer than FIVE posts now, and you've clearly ignored my responses which have already addressed the issues you raise again here.

I won't be drawn into responding any further.

A ban is different to a restriction though , they are two different things , I could not use hate speech under a quota system could I ? Its quite rightly outlawed .

Can we have Adam Banana back? If this forum is going to be full of nutjobs, they may as well be entertaining ones. I wanna hear more about how we're actually living in the Matrix or whatever.

I have merged the "do we need a limit thread?" Into off-topic as it is obviously off-topic! But it's an interesting question. If someone only ever seems to respond to those who disagree with them and keeps on posting the same things over and over again, then it does rather smack of trolling, particularly if they are posting twice as often as is really necessary to make their point.
It is difficult though, because people are entitled to post their opinions, even if they are unpopular or go against the consensus. We have in the past had to warn WUMs about Trolling and I suppose it's a judgement call as to whether their intention is to stimulate debate or simply an attempt to cause havoc. I am not really in favour of a limit on posting since how could you administer it. But if someone is just Trolling then their future is probably on another site, not this one.

On another point. Is a post limit something that would have to be rolled out all across not606? Or just on our board? As lots could potentially just head over to a disused L2 club's board and use that instead for chit-chat. I don't think there should be a limit and don't see how it could be introduced.

I agree. We don't need special restrictions, we just need everyone to follow the site rules, and we will be fine. And if you feel the need to use the ignore function, feel free.:)

On the subject of speech, do people think Nick Griffin should be allowed on Twitter? I don't (nor should groups like Al Shabab) but reading replies to his tweets provides hours of entertainment.
