    we reached the league cup quarter finals in 1996, losing to birmingham city at st andrews. last semi final in any competition was fa cup 1992 - lost to sunderland.

    I was there at the old Wembley in '85 when Dave Watson lifted the Cup, it was a crap game but it didn't matter to us. I'll never forget standing on that huge terrace in a sea of yellow and green with, and I'm not ashamed to say, tears rolling down my cheeks. It was a fantastic day and it would be great if we could emulate that acheivement so some of you young 'uns could experience that feeling <ok>
