Ok, torquay draw with Rotherham and bury beat stevanage, setting us up nicely, but unfortunately it doesn't matter as a footballing chesterfield side beat the gills 3 1 in some style. This final and lasting impression of the season, I.e a side actually playing football on the ground and winning inspires hess to tweak his style, with the help of some signings and put together a table topping, crowd pleasing super gills outfit for next season. Don't worry about losing players if we don't go up. We still have the budget to compete in this division, we just need a bit of craft in using it. Whatever happens give Hess benefit of the doubt for another season.
