Much better quality clip that can be played in 720pHD.
Caulker's clearly trying to walk Ninkovic away before being pushed in the back and falling into him.
Lees just puts his arms around the same player and tries to direct him away, before being pushed in the face and then attacked by other people.
Lowe's swung round by a Serbian coach and his arm is out and low, miles away from any of their players, who don't react to it at all.

Making contact with people isn't committing an act of violence, which is what they've been charged with.
The hand shake between Ince (10) and Gudelj (5) would be one, otherwise.

Caulker clearly has his hand on Ninkovic's chest whilst talking to him before shoving him. Twice.
It still shows Lees running several yards into the number 20, but shows he continues to tussel with him after bundling into him.
The number 16 clearly turns and shoves one of the Serbian coaches.

Raising your hands is, following the letter of the law, a bookable offence - which is what Caulker and Lees certainly do.

Sorry Croydon, but you're clearly seeing defensive actions as offensive ones.
Ninkovic is going after Rose and two players attempt to prevent him from doing so by physically blocking him off.
There's no attempt to attack or assault him, merely divert him away.

The two players aren't being censured under the laws of the game, but under Serbian criminal law.
Whoever's been charged here isn't facing a ban, they're being prosecuted.
Nothing in those clips suggests that it's warranted, but there may be other evidence suggesting that it is.
It's clear who's under attack there, though.

Apparently, The Serbians are now accusing Rose & Caulker of causing the trouble by deliberately being black. Thereby provoking both the Serbian players, and the crowd.

Seriously, you would just love UEFA to use this incident to make a clear statement to Serbia, and any other nation with these kinds of attitudes that this sort of behaviour just will not be tolerated. That's what most of us would love to happen. What is liable to actually happen? The usual, sweet F.A.

Exactly. Watched these incidents over and over again, and I still can't see what the England players did wrong. They were defending themselves and their team mates. Caulker is trying to stop one of their guys from getting to Rose by pushing him away. And the second incident, the England player is doing nothing more than holding the Serbian guy back, and for that he gets slapped. The third incident, the England player is trying get one the guys with the dark blue track suit off his back by spinning him around.

Caulker and Lees are the players that have been charged, but the Serbs are going to allow the British system to deal with it, apparently.
What have they charged them with? Being attacked?

I'd say its their way of backing down from something they knew they couldn't enforce. Extradition?? not exactly murder is it!, no doubt they feel they've saved face...<doh>

Apparently the FA and the government have heard nothing official from Serbia since enquiring following the rumours about the 2 players being charged. The British ambassador however has today been told that Wigley, Caulker and Lees have all been charged. Absolutely maddening!

Couldn't have put it better myself.
Maybe Lees has been charged with being attacked and Caulker has been charged with being black? That is the only other alternative i can see.

It's a ****ing joke, I hope neither player's performances suffer because of it.

There are rumours though that it is Tom Ince being charged, not Tom Lees, Serbian authorities responded by saying "well, they all look the same anyway".

as a kid I remember watching a show called "Not The 9 O'clock News" which was a sketch show...one of the sketches was about a racist policeman who arrested a black guy for being black in a built up area...seems like the serbs have used this as the basis for their criminal law!

Do they not know how ridiculously racist they are making themselves look?
