Tettey wonder bendy shot, with a little help from Vertonghen for the first goal.

He didn't have to prove anything - he is already a very good manager. Some people just cannot see that for some reason

Other than Caulker, Dembele and Defoe who was missing from Spurs usual 11 at present? Just got turned over by a Norwich second string..never thought I'd see the day!

All we want now is another home draw, preferably to Bradford whilst the winners of chelski V Manure play the Arse and Swansea take on Villa

I've been behind him all the way! I was just referring to the way people were saying he's clueless when it comes to making subs. Well, he clearly isn't!

On another note, that was Jackson's 20th goal for the club. Well done Simeon!

I'm glad we agree. He is definitely moulding his own team and that turnaround tonight will have everybody buzzing going into Saturday's game now

Barring massive shocks, by my recokoning after tonight's results we are left with Bradford, Aston Villa, Leeds, Middlesborough, Swansea + Norwich, Arsenal and Chelsea in order from worst to best.

Avoid Chelsea at all costs and preferably Arsenal, but a home draw against any of the others would be tasty! There is a 5 in 7 chance of getting a very beatable team!

Notwithstanding the fact that this competition is one of only two trophies that realistically a club like ours is ever going to have a chance of winning these days, it's really sad that you feel that way especially as it's the only 'major' trophy that we've ever won. Perhaps if you had been at Wembley in '85 you would feel very differently. <ok>

I was in middle of The Barclay terrace when Brucie headed in that winner, to this day when that goal went in, it is the loudest and best atmosphere I have experienced.

So we got 13500 approx home supporters for a game with Spurs then?

It's only the away support that made up the numbers. I do not think that this will send a message to DM but it should. Must have been a lot of kids for fiver, to think if they lowered the price to be more fair, say £15-20 they could have got much more though the gate and made more cash and created a better atmosphere.

McNally asked fans for feedback on last night's ticket prices on twitter this morning.
Which has prompted the Evening News to run a poll.

It's nonsense to compare it to a Premier League match.Ok it's nice to have a cup run at last but if we are being brutally honest it is a bit of a lightweight competition.Still worth winning for the likes of us though.

It's a shame that because of MONEY winning a cup competition, even The F.A. Cup, comes a poor second to finishing fourth bottom of the EPL . I, like many others on here, remember the days when winning any trophy meant far more than just avoiding relegation. Even the 'big clubs' would field full strength teams in every cup tie and The F.A. Cup was regarded as THE trophy to win, more so even than the League title. Hard for the younger generation to believe, but fact no less <ok>
