And Suarez is a global legend then? <doh> Talk about delusion. Also playing in the World Cup is the basis for greatness? So by that token I presume you think George Best was crap then?

The kind of insightful answer I'd expected.

    Because we said so? :p

Other than the finishing, which we all know Suarez should be better at ( Still joint top scorer this year mind), what do you as his other "over-rated" attributes?

If Suarez is over-rated, I wonder what the White Pele is. Rubbish, a bottler, average, mediocre, second rate?

He may have "passion" but his "inflicting damage" has so far not been very productive. Apart from a few matches where he scored a hatful (Everton, Norwich) he has missed lots of chances which a very good striker would have scored...so in terms of points his damage inflicting has been quite mild <ok>

Lol: overrated by who? I've not read or heard a good word said about him from so called football experts. And we're all deluded so nobody takes us seriously....except camping Mancs of course ;) but then he's tore you a new one before.....

So not sure are we right or is uniteds defence just as over rated?

Yet he's one of the top scorers in the premier league this season, even outscoring the ''White Pele''. He can't be all that bad so?

I'm only talking skills here, not the other stuff, ball at his feet, movement, passing, etc. Not the other rubbish that has already been gone over and over.

If he gets 20+ which he is on course to do then he's done his job.you are confusing him & the entire team with being less than prolific. They're two separate issues.

Good job is he's young. He can improve his finishing. What he's consistent at is creating individual & team chances.

The passion/drive/fortitude are things I require as a default in a Liverpool player.

Oh and so far he's only one behind your new prolific goal scorer...

This is what I mean. He scores in clusters...his goals have not been translated into as many points as they should if he was scoring regularly <ok>

As noted he is only 1 behind Van Persie who has been hailed as great this term. Not saying Suarez doesn't miss the chances, believe me he ****ing does, but can't be that daft about it. He has also scored in Europa as well so his attributes don't just stop in the league he has other platforms where he scores as well. He is getting better and back ( hopefully) to some of those Ajax days of scoring.

Credit where it's due, he has stepped up his contributions all round this season. Last couple of seasons his tangible contribution (goals and assists) was not that impressive, but he's stepped it up this year (helped by the rest of your barn door shy team ;)). Tho' his contributions are still a bit Berbatov esque - three goals against Norwich who you would have beaten anyway, but no real contribution against us or Stoke when you really needed a goal from him, and some missed chances that could prove costly come May.

I think his goals have earned you five points this season, whereas RVP's goals have earned us nine by comparison. Obviously not the cleanest comparison given the respective performance of the two teams, but if he's going to become of Cantona-esque importance for you he's going to need to start scoring more winners in tight games.
