Sunderland v Aston Villa Everton v Sunderland Fulham v Sunderland Sunderland v West Brom Sunderland v QPR Need to get rid of this negative system and play with a game plan were we are more concerned about getting a shot on goal rather than worrying about not getting beat. At the minute we have lost 2 won 1 and drawn all the rest and even though we are still a couple of points off top 10 (If only we could of held on at West Ham) if we don't pick up a win in the next 2 games I can see us doing from draws to defeats. This is the first time I have to say that I don't really blame the players as well, under Brucie at the end of his reign I blamed the bloke but the players had to come in for a lot of flack but this time it is totally the tactics, AJ has been absolutely dog since he got here but he needs to be playing in an attacking team were the midfield will get the ball to him early and let him run and same with McClean. As for Sess I was reading MoNsMush's view on the game and he was the only player that looked to play it forward and never had an option on!! Come on Martin lets get a ******* system working that can get the best out of our players!! November is absolutely massive!! we need no less than 9points
should of re-worded that far better.... * won 3 in all competitions (1 in league, 2 against lower league oppo) * lost 2 in all competitions (1 in league against the champions and last night in the cup) * drawn all the remaining league games to date and even though we are still a couple of points off top 10 (If only we could of held on at West Ham) if we don't pick up a win in the next 2 games I can see us going from draws to defeats.
The home games are huge, the other two less so, as we always lose at Everton and Fulham is a tricky one. We must start with a win against Villa and WBA & QPR are certainly winnable too. So I would say 8 points is the minimum tally to kickstart our season (i.e. two wins and two draws) and if we get that I'm happy. Otherwise, I am Mr Angry of Caterham
Agreed its a massive month and we need to win all 3 home games and maybe squeeze something at Fulham to rescue this season and turn it all round. We will lose at Everton. 9 or 10 points (even ****ty 1-0 bore wins will do) will see us gather pace imo and then we will have the Reading game at home to come in December too. We are on a poor run no doubt but I still believe in the manager (maybe 95% now not 100% after last night) and he needs our support not our condemnation and our fickleness, although I accept he the crowd will totally turn if we draw 2 at home, lose both away and just say scrape a win along the line. It will be over in a blink though if we lose to a crap Villa team on Saturday. FTM & KTF
