hilarious! never seen that happen before. slightly worrying that the players don't know the rules though... maybe they got caught up in the emotion of the match. probably was the case - i had no cares who won but i was shouting at the tv, mainly in disbelief at what i was witnessing!
anyone notice that walcott scored a hatrick, every on in time added on, half time, full time and end of extra time. this is surely a first and certainly proves he plays to the final whistle.
One, the second, has now been credited to Jenkinson, because the officials didn't register that the ball had crossed the line and Jenkinson then put it back into the net.
