Not good enough. Simple as that. The excuses are getting boring from Adkins now. We tried to be positive isn't good enough we hardly got a shot off. The penalty was completely irrelevant we were already buried by then. Playing our youngsters. Really Nigel? Why the **** pick Davis over Gazzaniga?
Not going through the rest. He's taking the piss at the moment needs to sort his head out big time.

Sick of Adkins wanting to play the right way. We've always looked better mixing it up and being direct. We don't dominate possession trying to play passing game anyway. 49% average possession in the Prem is laughable for a team claiming to be playing possession/passing game. Most of our possession is in our own half which makes it even worse

Some of these players were poor for us last season, so not surprised they can't step up. I think Nigel didn't get the players he wanted in the transfer window. Nicola got obsessed with signing Ramirez (good player though he is) and didn't get us quality across the whole team as he should have done. We should have had a big clear out (tough though that is). Nigel is in the impossible position of taking responsibility for something out of his hands. Not helped by tough start as even one more win would look respectable.

Easy looking back Fran. We've got to take a deep breath, suck it up and get behind them. I have to say that Nigel looked forlorn as he walked off last night

I still don't get it. IMHO all nigel accomplished last night was to shorten his life expectancy as saints manager. I predicted last week that he would sacked this week. It seems that won't happen and i may of been a bit premature but i have to say as it stands i will not be to outraged if NC does take action. He looks out of his depth.

Kitch out of his depth against PL is one thing but Leeds......! Last season we beat them twice! The players have to take a long look at themselves. They let the club and supporters down last night!

You're taking this too seriously. You've only one objective this season, staying in the PL. Adkins showed he understands that by his selection and comments afterwards. Last season we were dumped out of the League Cup 1-4 at home by MK Dons in the first round we played in. Irrelevant. Yes, it would have been nice to have won, or to have had better performances from fringe players. But in reality what matters is the coming weekend. <ok>

Hello guys and gals, we battered your second string last night, I really thought Adkins would have played a first team against us to try and instill some confidence in your players it would have been a more even game and then could have gone either way, as it was he got it horribly wrong, it does not make him a bad manager !! good luck for the rest of the season Saints....

Let's hope then he and Cortese can select the right formation and team selection as it's Adkins neck on the line now , 4 points out of a possible 27 is not good enough , and the worrying thing is we seem to play crap against the so called weaker teams .

Just wondering how many weeks have to pass before you will stop predicting Adkins' weekly sacking?

The problem is against the weaker teams they tend to sit back more and let us come at them and hit us on the break. It then looks like we are just passing across the midfield without troubling them in their third. When we done this last season it wasn't against Premier League sides so we managed to break them down more often and not concede as many. Against the better sides we look better as they are attacking us more and when we have the ball there is more space to manipulate as they are stretched over the whole pitch rather thann their half.

Even with only 4 pts, after 9 games you're just 6 pts from mid-table. You are one of 10 teams (in which I include Swansea and West Ham), who will likely scrap it out in the bottom half. None of the current bottom three can be said to be getting cast adrift. From the look of it, the points total required for survival will be well below the 40 mark, around 35 would be my guess. That means just over a point a game from now on, well within your capabilities. It would be utterly insane to remove Adkins IMO, unless he loses the support of the players. It has taken Chris Hughton the same number of games to get himself more or less straight here at Norwich (and it still isn't quite right). He has a lot more experience of this league than Adkins yet we are just 3 points better off! Calm heads and unity is all that is needed. <ok>

This 11 should never have been playing on any night in any competition. Either you take each game seriously and try to improve on the last one by making sensible changes or you end up with this sort of shambles/fiasco. It should be obvious that Leeds would not rest their best players.
