If this was a deliberate and elaborate plan to wind up Chelsea fans, then you have to say. Job well done.
He slipped and hurt his leg. He is Ok now unlike the steward Rangers thugs murdered in 2004. RIP David Ireland
**** me!!What happened to you lot!!You can give it out but can't take it!! Look mum he's celebrating in front of us!!!
What are you on about? United are the first to talk about a lack of class from other fans at every opportunity, yet they and their players are some of the biggest culprits of showing none. It's not as if the Chelsea fans had targetted Hernandez and were giving him stick all game. He had just come on, we were down to 9 men (with the latter being incorrect) and then conceded to a double offside goal which was likely to be the winner after doing so well to get back into the game. Obviously we were already incensed and then to have the goal scorer come and celebrate in front of us and gesticulate was bound to garner a reaction from the fans. It worked as a catalyst for what was to happen next.
Sorry mate..I ain't having it. if Steven Gerrard had done the same thing in front the Stret. and he got the same response, I wouldn't be defending people throwing seats and coins at players. Personally, i'd give him some verbals and **** off in a pissed off mood. As for the gesticulate bit, is that the same "C" that he's been doing for a couple of weeks?(Maybe it stands for Chicharito?) But it's alright, you make excuses for coin/seat throwing.Your club deserves you.
Gerrard would more likely celebrate with his own fans or kiss a camera, but whatever. I don't understand why a player who truly loves the club would rather wind up the opposition after scoring a goal than celebrate with his won supporters. There are thousands of people in football crowds and so chances are not everyone is a nice person. There's bound to be some backlash when one of those people are provoked especially in the circumstances of Sunday so wouldn't it be wiser to just stick from doing that?
to be honest, as much of a tit Hernandez is, I'd have done exactly the same in their back yard. (before anyone jumps on me, I know what I said previously but my general point is he should know what to expect doing what he did)
Goading opposition fans after scoring a late offside winner v 9 men is a typical United thing to do though. Classless from top to bottom.
Another classy act was the ovation at OT given to Hunt for services rendered to Petr Cech...nice touch that.
That may be a natural reaction at Stamford Bridge but not in most stadiums or walks of life. If Chelsea have a yob element amongst their following who are incapable of controlling themselves without being aggressive then that is something for the club to deal with by banning the idiots.
Every club has idiots. even yours believe it or not. Out of a crowd of 42,000 you had about 20 idiots throwing things. Get a grip FFS.
**** me you deluded old scrotum, yob element? You obviously weren't at the game and didn't see a big crowd of yernited fans chanting about Matthew Harding .
Drogs if they're not careful they'll be mistaken for a certain Merseyside club. All this self pity is embarrasing.
