QPR linked with another coup By Brian Lofrumento | 30th October 2012 QPR linked with another coup | read this item Premier League strugglers Queens Park Rangers have been linked with yet another transfer coup after their miserable start to the 2012/13 campaign. After several major summer signings, the club is being linked with a move for Chelsea and Real Madrid veteran Ricardo Carvalho. The Portuguese defender is currently plying his trade with Jose Mourinhoâs defending La Liga champions, but at 34 years of age has been told that his contract will not be renewed at the Santiago Bernabeu. As such, Carvalho could be set to make a return to England with big spenders QPR. The Metro is reporting that Mark Hughes has a genuine interest in the defender, and views Carvalho as one piece of the puzzle to get QPR on the right side of results after their winless start to the season. Carvalho would join fellow big names such as Julio Cesar and Esteban Granero at Loftus Road as the club aims to stay in the Premier League.
