For me, the only good thing to come out of today is that Northampton Saints are 15 mins from the Heineken Cup Final. Today's performance undermined our need for two class strikers and a new CB. Jose is playing badly ATM, hopefully his performance will put off Liverpool. Hubnik, Gamiero, Gervinho and Sigthorsson(spelling?) anyone?
But added to that we need half a dozen decent squad players. Too many of our first team have gotten used to the luxury of being able to put in a totally crap performance and still get picked next week because we have nobody to give them competition for their place.
Could also do with a good right winger (letting Barton go central), or a right back who can defend and cross, so we have can some kind of attacking threat on the right.
