Hi lads, new to the forum, i used to read, but decided to get involved. MON has tought our side how not to score goals, not the best thing to do as a manager, but he seems to think its a good idea. We seemed to attack slightly more last year under his management, but this year its as though hes determined to get the sack. I thought he done well in the transfer window, but the way he sets the team up is actually embarrising, no desire to get into the oppositions half. Hes surviving off his repuation at the moment, i hope he can turn things around, but i just cant see it. The fact James Maclean plays every week (nothing short of a sunday league player) scares me, christ knows what the players think.
Welcome aboard mate, quite agree with you. I never really took any notice of his style of play until I spent quite some time in Glesga when he was at Celtic. It was basically the same style but they ground out wins against Rangers & thus won trophies. I hope he does succeed & I'd be happy to eat large portions of shaven, sorry humble pie.
