You scored ONE goal against that pathetic Reading defence at Anfield. <laugh>

I can't wait until Cazorla,Podolski and Wilshere have a go at them in the league games.

I liked the look of eisfeld, thought he looked good on the far east tour as well, think he could be a future star, well heres hoping anyway.

Along with Giroud he changed the game. When we signed him, Wenger actually took a lot of stick on here.

    What a ****ing game.

I thought Giroud was our stand-out player, followed by Jenks and the Eisfeld.

Contrary to most on here, I didn't think Theo was that great. I have to agree partially with Gent (much as I don't want to). Theo is good against poor defenses that open up, not against defenses that sit deep. His 2 goals today were good. But apart from Jenks assis and a close efoort, what else did he do? However, you cannot knock the fact that his stats are as good as £50M world class Bale. I think there is a role for him at the club.

Anyway, only 35mins till the repeat on SS2.

We'll get Chelsea or ManUre in the next round knowing our luck.

No worries though, we have Marouane "goal machine" Chamakh to help us out.

I wanna see Andrey back in the starting line up .
he has GOT to offer more of a threat than Gerv.

AND he worked his socks off tonite.

The best thing about Arshavin is their defence doesnt know WHAT hes going to do.
In a largely predictable team he is the loose cannon that can crack a defence..

agreed with this hope tonight signals the rejuvanation of arshavin. He has much more effectiveness in the final third.

He is like a night out with endless bottles of tequila , you might have a feckin great night , or you might just end up in the gutter .
    But SOMETHING will happen

Gervinho is like a night out on diet coke .

No surprises , dull as feck.

I was at the pub watching the game, when Reading got their 4th goal, i actually left, went to the train station, and sat in the train going to leave but kept thinking if I should just go back and see what happens, luckily, the train was just sitting there on the tracks, I got up, and went back to the pub! Got back and a few moments later Walcott scores.

Like with Theo, Arshavin whenever he is on the pitch is able to get a goal or an assist. He makes things happen, Wenger just has to weigh up the risks when thinking about using him or not.

this , what he makes happen might sometimes no be so good but its what we are missing .

An enabler, a prime mover, i would rather watch him than Gerv and his pointless dribbling en route to the touchline.

Really hope he gets more starts.

In all honesty, after tonight's game, I don't think we can use much of these players in the next game, they played so long, and the next game is against United! So it wouldn't be wise to have a few of these players also featuring on Saturday, from today's game, I'd only like to see Walcott and Giroud start, and give the rest, the likes of Chamakh and Arshavin chances to prove themselves in the next games.

special mention for giroud too. Pretty nimble and athletic for a big man. Held up play well and retained possesion
