What I don't get is that the guy that reported it to the police had no first hand information of it and surely much like us isn't sure of the exact terms that it's been alleged were used or exactly when they were. Seems strange to me that you can do that.
The guy who reported John Terry wasn't a first hand witness either and now he has cooked up a ****-storm. It wouldn't surprise me if the guy from SBL turns out to be a Chelsea fan. Now, we will have waves of football related things reported to police using up valuable man-hours that could have been better deployed. Where do we draw the line on this?
At least there was footage which clearly showed him using the term in that scenario but I do agree that situation is also strange to me.
Touching on what Drogs said earlier one type of discrimination isn't less significant than any other. Calling someone a black man a monkey or black **** is as bad as calling a homosexual a "***got" Although some might argue skin colour/race is inherent and homosexuality isn't in my eyes it's the same.

If we are going to end up with all people being treated the same it seems essential to me that groups which are being discriminated against are allowed to take collective action to state their case. This is not hypocrisy or double standards it is common sense. The reason a Society of White Lawyers (or indeed a Society of Male Lawyers or a Society of Heterosexual Lawyers) is unnecessary. and indeed should not be allowed, is because these are the groups either doing or at least benefiting from discrimination.
Am I the only one who thinks that the society of black lawyers (or their members) will benefit from this. Surely black people who are claiming racism will look to them, and in turn they will make a fortune. Never trust a lawyer, no matter what his colour.
