Crazy how serious everything has become on this forum. Was great at the start, now its slowly turning into the same thing as all the others.

I hope the ban is neither too long or one that makes DT stay away forever. He has helped me regain a little positivity in his last post which contained a couple of fantastic analogies.
There's probably the crux DT, you've been taking too much on and not concentrating on the quality because it obviously is there. I genuinely hope we get to banter again soon.

My twopenneth...Mods have stated their position...and we all signed up for it, so that is the end of that.
DT (whom I love) has sailed very close to the electric fence, and as he says...probably expects his ban....so be it

But what I love about DT is his positivity...and in his honour during his ban I will do the best to stay real positive and support the RRRs thro thick and thin...

Having re-read the board rules slightly confused as to why you have jumped straight to Step 5 in banning DT for a month, when as far as I can recall he has never been banned before. Obviously you have received complaints, largely from those with a sense of humour bypass who react to who is posting without reading what they post I'll wager. But if you have a set of rules better be transparent when you decide to seemingly ignore them yourselves, unless I have missed something.
Of course you have an overwhelming mandate from this board and I genuinely respect your selflessness in doing this role which I certainly wouldn't take on. And its only a football forum, not the court of human rights, so it's not at all important what happens on here. I'm just curious.

 

Guys, please just leave it.

Let the mods moderate the way they see fit. If you don't like it, then feel free to piss off somewhere else or start your own forum.

No you are right I didn't contribute much during the last few weeks, not feeling very positive about the season so far so don't want to be posting doom and gloom I didn't even comment on your ban, but I still read with interest the threads. But then you are back with your 5 million word Riposte, about your feelings, your views on peoples treatment of you. Every other thread after that is you.
You really are one sad little man, as I said it is a football forum, bit of banter, few laughs a few off the wall threads it ain't about you DT and Mods explaining themselves every 5 minutes.

I'm just utterly fed up with this board being all about individuals and not about football. So many people are on their personal advertising crusade that I simply can't be doing with it. And then when the mods act, their every action is questioned, criticised, and picked apart needlessly.

And so whilst I don't have to promise you anything at all, I want nothing to do with it any more.

Swords - you're carrying vendettas into this and you shouldn't - starting on LIUTB just because he posted is not a great return.

Nor for that matter is urging people to spam the mod's PMs to even up complaints. If you can think that in the cold light of day then you haven't a drop of the smarts I gave you credit for.

You say that you read the forum in the last month then you'll know how close you came to pulling the place apart, you'll know how many people stuck their necks out for you. At least try to show them (me included) that the faith is well founded. You'll also know that the mods are jaded and pissed off with the amount of work they have to do i gave a voluntary role - and you think that adding to that will help you or DT?

If you've been reading then you'll know that DT has been bullishly challenging the mods head on and seeing how far he can push them and you suggest he complains to them? Dave, I think, knew this was coming - you don't find the boundaries without crossing them and at least outwardly seems to accept this graciously.

SB - What's got into you? My most respected poster (alongside Brix) telling someone that they can go (or "cheerio" to paraphrase) and picking up DT's mantle for questioning every decision (while no doubt being witness to his baiting in the last month).

All of you please lighten up, cheer up, grow up and try to understand what we're doing here and how our actions (past, present and future) impact others.

I agree totally Willy! Not at divorce stage for me yet..... Just playing around elsewhere to see if the grass is greener;-) its a football forum. There are a number of posters I particularly enjoy, many in the middle and a couple of WUMs. Most if all though is its a football forum. Threads on individuals are tiresome as are the apologies. It's self indulgent and stokes it up. If you've got something to apologise for you know who you've upset. PM them.

 

Matt, you are a top bloke and I seriously don't deserve your respect, I'm just another pompous opinionated twat who thinks his views are worth listening to. This board is heavily overpopulated with us. If I have one thing going for me it's that I'm aware of this and don't take this place or myself too seriously. Great thing about this forum is that one persons views are of exactly the same worth as the next persons. In other words they are all equally worthless.
I have asked one reasonable question of the mods about the board rules. They don't have to reply and as I said in the post it's hardly important and I'm not going to push it. Willy then suggests that anyone questioning should "piss off". And you have a go at me.
