Great game!!!! Arse were rubbish in the first half (Arshavin Chamake). Bettter in 2nd half (both Arshavin/Chamake sort themselves out). I knew when Arse went 4-4 that they would win.
Reading are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow at the back and all the players heads went down.
Good for QPR as they played Tuesday with extra time and lost. Hopfully we will take full advantage of this....... if not i won't be happy.

    Great game though tonight.

So Reading concede 7 when a team have a go at them.

you can bet that useless prick in charge will have us sitting back and not even testing their defence until we are 2 goals behind!

Can anyone on here see us scoring 5 against Arsenal at the moment?

Flyer I have said all season that Reading are a very slow team (only good team work has saved them from being stuffed every week). The way to beat them is to have pace (like Spurs). MH needs to play Cisse/Hoylett and not Zamora (who will only get into battles with Gorkss and lose). Speed will beat them with good passing. AS i said if we pass like we did against Arsenal we will walk round them. Big game for MH and he needs to be bold.

The Reading players must be pretty despondant after that second half and extra time performance, as well as being very tired. Their manager Matt Lucas seems like a top bloke though.

I hope Hughes selects a team that plays with a high intensity from the off for Sundays game. We need to get them on the back foot early doors and get our players attacking their defenders asap. They won't like it up 'em.

Reading, awful very slow. Errrr didnt they beat us already this year ? Did they not beat one of our strongest 11's ? Did they not just put 5 past Arsenal ? Cut the arrogance guys, it will not be a walkover.

Agree. But Hughes being bold would be a bigger shock than Arsenal winning there 7-5.

Matt Lucus is a top bloke and done really well at Reading. They run a tight ship and have a nice ground. I just don't like all those plastic muppets singing 'come on you R's' or whatever they say' They have a good togetherness in the team and always seem to fight even if they are 2/3 down. <ok>

I could not name their manager if you asked me right now. But I'd go with Matt Lucas.
