I'd settle for a 7-5 win on Sunday, but not the 4-0 down part. Reading were involved in a 7-4 game with Pompey in the Premiership a few seasons ago.
We can only hope that Reading don't take it out on us come Sunday , wouldn't put it past them not the way we having being playing for the last 12 months
Get real, they put 5 past Arsenal. We've scored Just 5 away goals so far this whole season. Let's not kid ourselves it will be a walkover.
Never said it will be a walk over, howeverthey have just played a hard game on Tuesday with extra time and lost. Heads are down, haven't won in the league, Very slow players, they concede lots of goals and are newly promoted. We have spent money and are at home. If we cannot beat a Reading team at home where are the points coming from? PS they put 5 past Arsenal second team (11 changes from Sat)? Not taking it lightly because they will be up for it but confident of the points.
Ellers, whatever you are on, send me some. I so want to remain positive, just find every weekend it is more disappointment and worse, anger at MH's decisions.
How strange that the substitutions did Reading in. Hopefully they make the same silly mistakes so we can take the points
Don't get this take it out on us business. When we were thumped by swansea did we take it out on Norwich? Only possible if you're a top side and just had a shock result.
I will only say (before im off to bed) Reading were 4-0 up at home and let in 7 goals? (Forget about Arsenal) that's just about Readings 1st team. They blew it big time tonight and will be down. That defence of theirs is shocking and if we cant score past it then i will be speaking to MH myself.
They said that even McDermott looked devastated. They will waste a day or two of preparation time sorting their heads out and recovering their energy levels. If I could hand pick a game to give us the best psychological edge it would have been that one. We should also have a physical edge and a tactical one considering the extra time and the self-destruction they demonstrated.
Mate ............ Were looking to 'give them more of the same' if you ask me. As little Johnny Positive, I'm hoping Reading fans are worried of a score line of similar circumstances against us. Not twice in one week, there thinking!
Jeez Col, I know what you're saying, but isn't it a real sad state of affairs when we are hoping that a team one point ahead of us (and we are playing them at home), are mentally and physically shattered following an ET match? BUT, if it gets our season finally up and running.........
