I have previously actually articulated my point on Walcott. I don't see why I should repeat myself for one-liners of "ridiculous", "you must have not watched arsenal" etc fanboy posts here.

Compile a list of 5 games from all the seven years in his tenure where he's been above average in games that:

- our main source of attacks weren't counter attacks
- the opponents strategy was mostly defensive
(that should be 85% of the teams we face)

For walcott that has generally been the case yes.

Against dense defenses he is absolutely useless and he has shown that last year as well, where he started games (the "sub" defense doesn't hold).

Hint: most teams are on the defensive against Arsenal, meaning Walcott is next to useless.
