    We have a big enough circus at Portman Road without another clown getting in on the act!

    We need a serious man to come in and sort out this bloody great mess and McCarthy is ideal. Holloway would be a good appointment if we weren't fighting for our Championship lives.

    What a coup this would be, I still can't see it happening though!! I think Holloway would suit Ipswich!! Though there is a nagging doubt that JWM maybe right about needing someone with a bit more grit to get us out of the situation we are in, however after watching Wolves under MM last season, this is something he certainly didn't instill in his team!!

    Two things:

    1) There is a positive in all of this if McCarthy gets the job, and that's that Terry Connor is an impossibly lovely bloke I would be proud to see in the dugout.

    2) I'm sure that Spanish and I would rather come up with the £2k for Warky ourselves if it means it's Holloway!

    I have to agree with you Spanish, having a jovial character at the club is exactly what we need to bring some fun back to Portman Road, plus I rate him as a far better manager than McCarthy

    Ian Holloway has a poor record when you compare it to Mick McCarthy's <ok> Holloway got Leicester Relegated, didn't do much at QPR or Plymouth before gaining1 promotion with Blackpool before being relegated straight back down. Compare that to Mick McCarthy who has promoted Sunderland and Wolverhampton keeping Wolves up for 3 consecutive seasons as well as taking Ireland to the World Cup Finals in 2002! So how does that make him worse than Holloway?

    We've got enough clowns at portman road without appointing another one! <ok>

    Oh and as for having a jovial character I thought that was Jewell and look how well that turned out!

    Warky 90% want ollie over MM but i accept that you are right and everyone else is wrong, Ollie can be very passionate and serious but you paunt him out to be a clown just to make yourself correct. I cant be bothered to argue with you and shall save it until you realise how wrong you were, no more shall be said by me on this matter, you know my thoughts and thats it for now!
