Midfielders Chris Clark and Simon Walton are doubts, but with limited numbers available, boss Peter Reid may be forced into playing the majority of the team that started at Exeter. Saints: Nigel Adkins is expected to rest some players after having just a days rest since the side's 3-0 win at Brentford. Dan Seaborne may come in to replace Radhi Jaidi and changes at full-back could be applied. Guly picked up a knock and was therefore subbed in the Brentford game and maybe a doubt for this. Form(Last 8 games): Plymouth: LWWLWLLD Saints: WWWWLWWW Predicted Saints line-up: --------------------Davis--------------------- --Butterfield---Seaborne---Fonte-----Harding-- ------------------Hammond------------------- --Guly/Gobern------Chaplow----------Lallana---- -------------Lambert----Connolly-------------- Subs: Bart, Richardson, Jaidi, Gobern/Guly, Stephens, Dickson, Forte. Prediction: 3-1 Saints(Chaplow,Lambert & Lallana | Bolasie ) . I was pessimistic before Brentford and we brushed them aside, and although the Green Army will be more up for this encounter then Saturday's opponents, Saints should still have enough quality to brush them aside if they attack with purpose. 1 more win. 3 more points. One foot over the line. Come. On. You. Saints.
Just repeat what we've said for all of April's matches. Must win. Trust NA and team etc. But, most of all, enjoy the trip everyone of the great fans who are going.
My predicted line-up would be: Davis Butterfield Fonte Seaborne Dickson Forte Hammond Chaplow Lallana Lambert Connolly I'm expecting a few people to be rested, including Guly and Harding who both seemingly came off with minor injuries yesterday. Had Connolly not scored yesterday, I think we'd have reverted to the 4-3-3/4-5-1 that we played against Brighton, with either Gobern or Stephens starting in place of Connolly.
Nigel should enter dressing room clutching a piece of paper clearly labelled 'Connolly's contract.' If that doesn't make him score three I don't know what will.
Quick question about Fonte, he's picked up 11 yellow cards this season now, but I haven't heard anything about a 2 game ban from picking up his 10th yellow? Or is my knowledge about suspensions from yellow cards wrong? Hopefully someone can clear this up
After a certain date in Jan/Feb i think, all previous cards collected are surpassed and the talley starts again. Hope this helps
Come on you mother ****ing Saints. Same team as Saturday with Dickson, Seaborne and Butterfield coming in to replace Richardson, Jaidi and Harding. One More Win. COYS
Ah thank you for clearing that up! I was getting very nervous COYR for tomorrow, I have the champagne ready. P.S. I'm loving the look of this new forum, and look forward to using more and more when 606 is gone
I saw Adam Lallana this morning. I can confirm that he looked up for it. He also had no trousers on (true story)
I am going for 1-3 for the Saints to march back with a great win to confirm promotion. Goals from Lambert, Hammond and Lallana, one from Mason for the hosts. Davis Butterfield Seaborne Fonte Harding Hammond Guly Chaplow Lallana Lambert Connolly Subs: Bart, Richardson, Jaidi, Gobern, Stephens, Dickson, Forte
It is going to be a great day for you tomorrow, I can say the feeling of promotion is so great and I just love it, But it is not gills season so all I can say is me and my Gills fans are all behind you and hope you do it, I will watch out for the result of this one. Good Luck, Good future for you.
Old saying - never change a winning team! Christ I'm nervous about tomorrow - will be glued to computer/TV/Radio for updates as I can't make it to the game Dark Lord
TBH, It's a not a must win as we only need to win one out of the two games to go up. Haven't been so confident in a Saints side for years though.
