If Rooney was foreign he would be seen as if not more controversial than Suarez.

The push on Ronaldo at the euro's, the push at last years qualifier, swearing down the camera, hassling referee's, some off the pitch antics, playing on injuries to avoid playing internationals, the bad anger management he carried for years.

Him and Suarez have a lot in common. But their nationalities make all the difference.

One thing I really like about Suarez s that he is clearly a great, loving family man, and you here nothing bad of him away from the pitch.

Lot of Mancs lurking around our board recently, must put it down to the fact there is only about 5 of them over on theirs....

Balotelli is an interesting one. Also has a lot of similarities to Suarez, the maverick, unpredictable side.

Last year he got a ban for stamping on Scott Parkers head.

But what Balotelli does s taken in humour.

But no-one gives a toss about his overbite problem. It's the racist (undeserved) and diving (deserved) stuff that is the topic of conversation all the time, and the reason everyone has a go at him. I've said many times I don't think he's an angel, but he's no worse than many others.
Everyone loves a villain, rightly or wrongly, and that was my point.
And my point's better than your point, it's my thread and if you don't play nicely I'll take it home.:p

On the pitch, not off it. He's a loathsome footballer, he might be a saint at home, no idea.

Well I didn't want to say anything, but seems we're rumbled.

LFC is a soap opera and Suarez is cast as the villain, a villain who happens to be portrayed by real life douche as well.

Suarez is better than Cantona..not as a player .Imagine what Cantona would do to Moyes.Instead of diving towards him
he is going to kick him<ok>

Yes it is your thread and a very deliberate attempt to portray him as misunderstood or as your said, guilty of some rather silly acts of gamesmanship on a football pitch. I think and most sensible people would agree he's guilty of more.

Also he's certainly no outstanding footballer. I don't know where that one came from.

watching MOTD over the last month i noticed this

David Luiz - blatant dive in the penalty area which was not even shown on highlights or mentioned by MOTD presenters
Ivanovic - blatant dive in the penalty area which was not even shown on highlights or mentioned by MOTD presenters

Suarez dives in front of Moyes as a wind up and they wont shut up about it

Interesting comparison because Cantona off the pitch was a very reflective, talented, and honest guy with a good moral perspective as well. He turned up to a couple of Justice 96 events, got up on stage and played the guitar on one occasion and was an all round good egg from what I can gather. Love the fact that he still thinks his greatest achievement was kicking the hooligan. Sure if he met Suarez they would get on well and I am sure he understands better than anyone the stick Suarez gets.

Never mind, if you can then no doubt we're guilty.
