Rather than what you think WILL happen, who would you like to see go down and come up this season? I think there are a few too many teams in the prem these days that don't feel very "top flight". Sure they are there on merit, but there too many big clubs playing in the lower leagues for my liking and I think the premier league would be better and stronger for having them back. My three to drop: SWANSEA, WIGAN, READING My three to come up: LEEDS, WOLVES, FOREST Your thoughts?
Good thread Trixter! For me it would have to be Reading, Stoke and QPR for the dreaded . Up I would like Forest, Cardiff and maybe Leicester.
Fair enough. But don't you think the premier league is better for having old clubs with big fan bases and tradition like west ham in it? Surely you would rather see us there than Wigan?
Leicester would do me very nicely if they came up. While we're at it, throw in Nottingham Forest. Could do so many away days then....
Leeds deserve to come up as they have served their time and have massive support, but they do seem to include some unsavoury fans. I know every team has its morons, but I would pefer Forest.
I've got nothing against West Ham. They are a big club. But I can't stand Allardyce. If you get rid of him I will no longer want you to go down. On the other hand I like Martinez, I really rate him as a manager.
We all have views about lots of clubs based on past history with them and if we feel they dissed us...that's why I hope Brighton don't make it. Daft I know, but this is football we are talking about.
Relegated: Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea Promoted: Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol City Nothing to do with my own convenience of course!
Ok I can live with that. Like him or hate him though, he is a character and offers a bit of personality to the prem. I like the old managers with something about them. I find them more interesting than the new, young, foreign managers that seem to be swarming the English game. Gimme Allardyce, McCarthy or Redknapp over Martinez, Solbakken or AVB any day.
Oh another reason why I wouldn't mind if West Ham went down. The ticket prices are ****ing ridiculous. £39 for an away ticket! That is a joke. Arsenal are cheaper than you.
Blame the chuckle brothers for that tomw trying to claw back their massive investment, likewise how they **** on they're own fans by reneging on last season's ST promise for cheaper ST's this season
