Oh come on. You have watched him in a maximum of two games. He is unfit, games will sort that and as a keeper you can get away with gaining fitness through games.

To me he looked cocky and confident, almost a little crazy.... just as a keeper should :p

ok, pretend you are Nigel. You have taken the decision that Kelvin needs dropping and you play your young, league two only, inexpereienced keeper. He does ok in the three games, but we still only win one and people are still on a bout this defence not being up to it. You get a chance to sign a very experienced, ex-champions league, ex-Serie A (12 clean sheets), right age for a keeper, goalie for nothing. He turns up a little unfit. The defence needs someone to organise them from behind and be able to take the stresses and strains of conceding goals (as you know they won't magically stop) without it effecting their confidence.

What do you do? I fuly see and understand the reasoning behind Boruc being picked.

I have now seen him play once in on ly his second game for a new team and after spending three months doing nothing. I can see that he is a keeper of good quality. I am confident that he will get fitter and better. Good age for a keeper too.

I am amazed he is being judged after two matches.

Our defence has been absolutely abysmal, Boruc offers vast experience at organising a defence, commanding his area and saving goals. Gazza has none of this experience indeed he has been almost completely untested, he has made one excellent save from a close range header counterbalanced by his very poor one on one against Jelavic. I'll grant you Boruc's distribution has been poor whereas Gazza's has been absolutely superb, as has his time wasting.

I doubt any saints player would rather have the inexperienced Gazza in their team than the vastly experienced Boruc.

Why did he get released then and not go for a fee ? You have to ask that dont you ? He is inreliable , why not give youth a chance until at least December when we can sign a keeper . I bet we all regret not paying for Butland now .

Do you not think we need to take a little gamble right now? You for one have been bemoaning our defence non-stop, so I'd have thought you would embrace something that Nigel is trying to improve that situation. Playing an inexperienced goalkeeper in the Prem is as much as a gamble. By the way, how strong have Birmingham been at the back this season?

3 Celtic rejects in the side , SPL rejects , and all in defence and we wonder why we leak goals in the EPL , I swear am I the only one sane here , can you all not see the train coming here ? Three SPL rejects playing in an EPL side .

You've mentioned this before and we've discussed it before. How about answering the questions above? Jos, I agree, he has struggled in the Prem. Fox I think hasn't been as bad as everyone makes out and in particular, the last two games. Boruc I have seen once and I can see why Nigel has taken that gamble.

At least I am making slow progress on this , why do we need to gamble ? Why DO WE NEED TO GAMBLE ? We had months to sort this out

Butland Corteses did not want to spend the money
    Clyne Cortese did
    Bassong Will never know
    Dawson Will never know
Buttner Cortese did not want to spend the money

A freebie like Boruc comes along and its all good , Premiership at all costs ? NMo its exactly like it was before , Ramirez is here for a year and thats it , another Tevez at West Ham .
Lack of ambiton mark 2 .

This makes perfect sense to me. Boruc has clearly been brought in to be number 1 and Davis is good enough for the bench. Gazzaniga just won't get games.

People saying it's harsh to take the number 1 shirt away from Gazzaniga don't seem to realise that he never really had it. He played a couple of games when Davis had to be dropped because we had no-one else.

Now, I don't know what sanction Boruc will receive for his indiscretion on Sunday but we do kind of need him so anything more than a fine and a stern word would probably not be in the club's best interest.

Why is Artur Boruc a Celtic reject? He's one of their greatest ever goalkeepers and never kept less than 10 clean sheets a season.

If he was one of their greatest keepers he would still be there . How many times has an Old Firm team kept 10 clean sheets a season ?

I am not arguing with anyone I am stating this was an awful awful window and it could cost us heavy and we are gambling with 3 SPL rejects , one who is slower than Brian Potter , one who thinks he is Roberto Carlos and the other one does not know what quite to think as he is bladdered somewhere in Shirley as I type................

Bristol City just seems like a strange choice, they don't need a goalkeeper so it looks like he would have to fight for a starting position there too. I don't want him going out on loan if he isn't going to play!

The awful window in which we spent £29m on three top quality players. Unreal!

They must have recieved an offer from Fiorentina that they clearly couldn't refuse. Is it that hard a concept to grasp?
