Every time we have played 442 we gat our arse handed to us,last season we played 442 and struggled against teams that played any other formation. Besides if a few youth players are to be involved then its better to play a formation that they know. Maybe we can play 431 with the extra place going to Jaidi to make sure our keeper does not get punched
Looks like Adkins is rotating himself with Crosby again And Chaplow has pretty much confirmed he'll start, taken from his interview on the OS: "There are many people in that team tomorrow who want a starting berth, me being one of them," Chaplow told Saints Player this lunchtime.
That's not true at all. We played 4-4-2 all of last season, and were consistently in the top two of the championship...
was meaning this season, 442 can be suited in the championship. Forgot that Man U are playing at Chelsea on weds, that should be fun
This amused me a bit: http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/355274? PS If Michael Brown, Diouf, Jamie Ashdown, Norris mad, Varney etc kick our nice boys for 90 minutes, I will not be happy.
BBC Radio Solent's Adam Blackmore: I believe the Artur Boruc bottle incident at the Chapel End on Sunday is being taken pretty seriously by #saintsfc - doubt he'll be at Leeds
All this talk of changing the team for the cup, is there any real benefit. I think as this season has been very stop start we have not got into our stride at all and are struggling because of it. The guys need games and 3 games in 8 days won't hurt any of them. IMO we should play at least 8 players against leeds who NA wants to start at west brom its the only way to get a bit of consistency.
