Well maybe he changed his mind. People are allowed to do that, even if they are a football manager.

So we ship him out before he makes that mistake, right. How about he keeps his place until he makes that mistake. What we might find is, theres this young hungry talented kid who suddenly finds himself really taking to life in the top flight. On occasions saving the team & earning points. But no, we'll ship him out just in case he has a shaky moment. I don't get, we've bought in a guy who to me looks on par to Kelvin.

So if were 1-0 up against Swansea in injury time and Gazza makes a big error which results in Swansea equalising in the last minute you'd be happy?

I'm sorry but Boruc is utter ****e! He is past his best in my opinion. He looks overweight and slow, his kicking is awful, his positioning is terrible, his ball distribution is poor. I thought Gazza was going ok in goal for us. Think NA should have kept by him.

Gills fan in peace. Have you got a direct link to the SaintsWeb comments other than that Sun one?

I'd be happy he was given the chance, yes. (oh, & 1-0 up the 90th minute would be a nice change)

    On a goalkeeping note...

Adam Blackmore of BBC Radio Solent:

I believe the Artur Boruc bottle incident at the Chapel End on Sunday is being taken pretty seriously by #saintsfc - doubt he'll be at Leeds

Kelvin tonight then? Paulo on the bench?

He will probably get a hefty fine and that will be the end of it. I would assume Kelvin will be in goal tonight.

Well i can question selecting Boruc - because i was at the West Ham + Spurs games and he did not look any better in either game than Kelvin Davis nor Paulo G to me. We conceded 6 goals in those two games and so this is no improvement at all on either of the other two. Sure its not all down to the goalkeepers by any means but same could be said for the previous games. However as i said previously although i question this goalkeeper selection i am content to go along with the managements decision as they are the professionals.

If Gazzaniga's going out on loan, I doubt he'll be involved tonight - although Dovey was at this same stage last year I suppose

That is clearly why Gazza has been loaned out as Nigel wants to have a stable defence with Boruc in goal.
Again this sounds like a good reason to give him game time in the championship, Kelvin will cover for him while the vastly experienced boruc plays in goal. Waiting for a mistake to change the goalkeepers would be inane if you thought the other goalkeeper was better.

Boruc has been released by his last two clubs , why ? There are better out there much better , he was a great keeper for two years or so thats it , he is an emotional wreck as well , likes a drink .
Gazzaniga deserves a chance , its not as if we are going to keep clean sheets all of a sudden is it ? With are back four Gordon Banks in his prime could be between the sticks and its wont make a jot of difference .

In the interests of investigative journalism, a comment from a Bristol City fan :

"Probably not true as our current number 1 Tom Heaton is the best keeper we've had since Adriano basso and our number 2 is a great back up. So I really doubt there is any truth in this as we don't need a keeper, though if you've got a spare RCb spare who's any good we'll have him"

I also thought we were building a team of youth and promise , this is why I am the way I am , he honestly does not know what way to turn .

I hope he gets some first team football as it is sad to see him on the bench and not playing, he done well for you I thought in the few games he played.
