Apparently there are a lot of pictures circulating that claim to be the hurricane but actually aren't. What's really annoyed me is that the media have ignored it before it arrived on the east coast. How about south USA and the caribbean
Don't forget that "when America catches a cold, Britain sneezes". Could mean we are in for some pretty rough weather too, although I doubt nowhere near as horrendous as the Yanks have had right now

Great point Wonky, there's been no mention of the devastation in Haiti, just that Americans have no power and passengers are stranded and a crane may fall over.
